I’m Wendy Eagle, and my love for flowers and nature began in childhood, growing up on a self-sufficient smallholding in rural Lincolnshire. Everything we ate was homegrown, and my mum would send my sister and I on flower treasure hunts. We eagerly raced back with handfuls of blooms, learning their names along the way—a love for gardening and growing flowers was ingrained in me from the start.
While raising my family, I always made space for growing flowers. In 2013, I became a member of Flowers from the Farm and started Fenwick Flowers, named after my maiden name, I specialised in wedding flowers. In 2024, I joined Farewell Flowers and shifted my focus to creating beautiful, fully compostable funeral arrangements with no floral foam or harmful materials. Every tribute is designed with sustainability in mind, using locally grown flowers when in season and my own foliage mixed with imported flowers during the winter months.
